Recently I've been working with a small non-profit that needs a lot of help. (That's nothing new, most nonprofits, large and small, need help. It's pretty typical of most non-profits.) But I found myself thinking about all the capacity-building tips I wanted to share with their staff and board; information that wouldn't fit into a half-day capacity-building session.

That's where the idea for "52 Tips" was born. Each week for 2024, I'm going to post a new tip here on this page and in LinkedIn. Each week I will mine my 30 years of experience working in the trenches with non-profits of all shapes and sizes to share tidbits of advice to help you and your organization operate more effectively. These tips will be short and to the point. I hope you find them useful!
